Tribute video for Dr James Charles (Jim) Marshall OBE
Dr James Charles (Jim) Marshall OBE, who designed those world-famous Marshall amps loved by guitarists across the planet, and born 29 July 1923, sadly died on 5 April 2012.
Rather than a one-minute silence, we have put together a short one-minute of sound as a YouTube video in honour of 'The Father of Loud' as a '60-second Song Tribute to Jim Marshall starring five guitar legends who have used Marshall Amps in their work and play' at:

Jim once signed one of our own guitar amps in huge gold letters at a music convention.
He was a lovely guy and will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
